The Pelikan M205 is an excellent entry into a range of what I consider some of the best, most reliable and consistent fountain pens available today, and the Blue Marble I received from Iguanasell is no exception. Even with its steel nib, as opposed to the gold nibs that grace the higher priced models (M400 and up), it's a smooth writer and an excellent performer. It never fails to write, never skips, and lays down what I consider a perfectly wet line. I wanted to add the Blue Marble to my collection, and Iguanasell had it on sale at a fantastic price. It was beautifully and safely packed and shipped it out to me promptly, arriving in a few days in perfect condition. An excellent product, and excellent price, and first rate service - a hard combination to beat! Highly recommended.

Curiosamente y pese a ser un modelo clásico es una pluma, para mí gusto, alegre. Esa es la palabra que me viene, alegre. Quizás porque también compré un tintero azul claro como la pluma y su escritura con su plumín "F" muy fluida es más alegre, menos seria que un azul oscuro. Viendo sus medidas la imaginaba más pequeña y sin embargo "la siento" en la mano más grande de lo que esperaba, eso sí, es muy ligera de peso. Perfecta, me gusta este clásico de Pelikan.

Very impressive steel nib, springy with some line variation.
Great writer and the blue marble barrel is such a feature. I am enjoying writing with this pen and I think I’ll be saving up for a M600!

...not as smooth, as one would expect from Pelikan. Also, beware if you are used to IPG, Dyacom or Asian nibs that this Fine nib writes more like a medium somewhere else.

Great pen. I own about 17 Pelikans and about the same number of Montblanc. My personal opinion is that the Pelikan writes better than or writes just as smooth and in some cases better than the Montblancs.
