Great quality fountain pen, excellent italic nib. I find the italic nibs more suitable for everyday use to stub nibs, as they are easier to write with (especially when it comes to longer sequences), and they make the letters look “naturally elegant”. :) But that’s a matter of taste, of course. :)

Aurora Ipsilon
The pen is nice and classy, a bit too small for my hand. It is an entry fountain pen by Aurora and you can notice this when it comes to the nib. Although a 14k gold nib it has a tendency to scratch. It feels like its tip is not well rounded. All in all it is a nice writing instrument.

Smooth instrument
The Arora Ipsilon Deluxe pen is a fantastic writer in my opinion it is smooth when writing it gives great line variation if you like that (i do) also if you have small sized hands it is perfect for that. IF I have to make any critism it is that there is no window in the pen to check ink levels you always have to unscrew the barrel to look at the ink in the converter, or and (and this is an asthetic reason) nib creep where ink comes out of the top of the nib when not necessarily in use which can be annoying to clean off in needed. But ultimately a Wonderful pen.

Verglichen mit 88 und Optima ist der Ypsilon sehr dünn und kurz, mit aufgesteckter Kappe bekommt er leichtes Übergewicht nach hinten. Vor allem die Nutzung des Tintenkonverters ist unbefriedigend, trotz guten Füllstands fließt die Tinte dünn, man muss immer wieder den Füller öffnen, den Konverter nachstellen, was meist mit schmutzigen Fingern einhergeht.
