The Delbana watch brand was founded in 1931 by Goliardoardo Della Balda and is a subsidiary of Delma Watches Ltd. The manufacture of these watches is based in Switzerland and was so successful that they had to expand their production capacity. That is why in 1954 they opened a new factory where more than 100 employees worked, experts in assembling pocket watches and wristwatches. Their entire manufacturing process is strictly controlled and assembled in-house.

After years of working for various watch companies, Don Goliardo decided to found his own company, which he named Delbana Watch Company. Delbana has existed as a brand for more than 70 years and has produced high-quality, affordable Swiss-made watches. It was in 2002 when Delbana was integrated with Delma Watch Ltd., a Swiss watchmaking house that has been operating as an independent family brand for over a century. Moreover in 2003 Delbana introduced its new collection which included mechanical and quartz watches. Over the years the Delma brand has been able to expand around the world, after the success with which it was received in Eastern Europe, in 2005 began to distribute the collection in different parts of the world as it was later in East Asia.After a meeting at Baselworld in 2017, a partnership was developed between the watchmaker and a key distributor in Poland allowing Delbana its presence in that country.

The ETA mechanical movements and Ronda quartz movements that equip its renewed collection plus the support of the good name of the brand, which belongs to the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry (FH), allow it to offer watches with a very good cost-performance ratio.
