Raymond Weil, while being a Swiss brand of proved quality and technical service has never finished enjoying the complete admiration of watch lovers. I recognize I've been one of those who suffered the initial, clearly unjustified, rejection for the house. However, when some weeks ago I met with Maria from Iguana Sell to choose the products I would feature this month in my blog, I checked out the actual collection of this brand, and, in short distance they seemed very different to how I looked at them before.

Once home, when I was able to feel, check and admire every detail of this watch I noticed it had nothing to envy from more renowned brands with a larger sales volume.

This Freelancer 2760-ST3-5001 is one of the most interesting novelties, available in several combinations and colors. And, truth be told, the majority of their novelties are really beautiful.

Ceramic, even if it's nothing new, has for some years been establishing itself as an essential material for all renowned watch makers. And Raymond Weil couldn't be less. This model features ceramic in both its dial and bezel, managing a dazzling and stunning combination. Furthermore, we all know some of the main characteristics of polished ceramic is its great anti-scratch strength and its singular shine.  

Its case is made of steel with a 42.5 mm diameter and 11.7 mm height, and is submersible 300 meters under water. Yes, this watch is not only prepared to be worn on a daily sporty look basis but is also a diver, allowing us to take a dive whenever we feel like it. For this purpose, its jubilee bracelet counts with a scuba diving extension that will allow us to use it when we need to wear a wetsuit!

Its dated place at four, its straightforward and clean design, bezel and dial irretrievably reminds us of some classic iconic watches. But the correct combination of its stainless steel bracelet and blue toned dial, plus the election of ceramic gives it an original and different touch which looks perfect on this watch.
