Very good

Good and fast service from the store. The shipping agent on the other hand was bad. But thats on DHL, not on Iguana. Will buy from them again, and hope for a better driver.

Le savoir faire de Pelikan se fait clairement ressentir avec ce M1000. J’ai personnellement opté pour une taille de plume EF. Dans tous les cas c’est une plume vraiment à part de ce qu’on peut trouver sur le marché. Douce, souple, réactive et précise. Elle donne du caractère à l’écriture de manière naturelle.
Un petit conseil avant l’achat : renseignez-vous sur la taille de la plume qui écrit légèrement plus gros que les tailles habituelles.

Nib issues

I have bought the Pelikan M1000 three times, and all times with different nib-issues. On this one, there were hard-starts on every 6th side-stroke (or so ...). It really takes the pleasure away from writing with such a beautiful pen, because when the nib works, it is a very nice writer indeed, with a good weight and masterful craftmanship to it. But considering the price, the nib-issues is a clear deal-breaker and totally unacceptable, which made me return it. The M1000 is a wet writer, a big pen, and with a classic design and good ink-capacity.
